OpenMinds seeks a meticulous and proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations. This role requires a proactive and analytical professional who can balance hands-on accounting tasks with forward-looking financial planning. You will ensure compliance, optimise financial performance, and provide insights that drive business growth.
– Manage and oversee daily financial operations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
– Keep track on expenses and income
– Perform analysis and provide insights on financial performance
– Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
– Handle timely submission of financial statements
– Work closely with department heads to track expenses and optimise costs
– A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
– 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting
– Excellent organisational and time management skills
– A strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– English language proficiency (B2 or higher)
– Would be a plus: CPA/ACCA/CIMA certification
– Would be a plus: experience with grants and UK corporate law
